Smackdown! Spoilers – October 2nd 2009

Here are the spoilers for this week’s Smackdown! Randy is featured in a match, so hover over the box to read the results.

WWE champion John Cena & DX (Shawn Michaels & Triple H) & The Undertaker beat Randy Orton & Legacy (Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase, Jr.) & World Hvt. champion C.M. Punk. Great match and great defense by Legacy and Orton. Punk didn’t do much in this match. Match ended with Orton getting beaten up by all four members of Team DX.

Raw Results – September 28th 2009

Backstage Josh Matthews is with Randy Orton. He says he faces John Cena at Hell In A Cell this Sunday but tonight, Cena competes in a Gauntlet Match. Orton cuts him off and says he won’t just compete. He says he’s getting destroyed tonight. He says if he even makes it to HIAC this Sunday, he knows from experience that he is going to hurt Cena badly and win back the WWE championship.

Big Show and Jericho continue to punish Cena as Randy Orton’s music hits and out comes the former WWE champion. Orton slowly creeps up on Cena, who slowly struggles to make his way to his feet. He gets up and is hurt but points one finger to the roof. Orton looks up and the Hell In A Cell cage starts lowering. Orton freaks out and tries escaping the ring before the cage traps him in. Cena hops on Orton and is just trying to keep him in the ring at this point. The cage finally lowers and both guys are locked inside. “Cena, Cena” chant erupts as the final Gauntlet match, inside a Hell In A Cell, is about to begin. Orton runs for the door and Cena blocks him. They start brawling and they end up busting through the door anyways. Orton immediately climbs up the cage as Cena chases him up to the top. Orton is on top of the cell now as Cena is finishing his climb. Cena is now up and they stare at each other. They exchange punches and Cena hoists Orton up over his shoulders. He hits the Attitude Adjustment on Orton on top of the cage. Cena poses, replays are shown as his music hits. That’s our final image from the RAW crew as we head into this Sunday’s Hell In A Cell PPV.
